*Not accepting new clients at this time * Hey babe, I’m Mariah, Wife to my Highschool sweetheart and mother of two little rainbow babies. I am the owner and creator of MWolfgang Hair Studio, I’m so glad to see you here! I strive to create a calm, relaxed, mindful environment while I spoil you behind the chair. I want you to know and feel that this is YOUR safe place, your place to unwind and unload whenever you need. The custom services I provide within my suite and the ability I have to encourage women to see themselves as beautifully as I do, will always be the best part of every day. Want to know something funny? I NEVER thought this is where I would end up, doing hair! My life goal was always to do some type of interior design work or I thought I would love to be a vet. All very random with no idea the direction I wanted to go. I grew up being raised by the most selfless grandparents, along with my Uncle and Aunt who stepped up and all played the role of “parents”. Don’t get me wrong, I was VERY blessed and lucky to have been raised the way I had been. Unfortunately the feeling of abandonment and not being “good enough” by my biological parents (who were drug addicts) made my self worth teeny tiny. Throughout the school years, I would get made fun of for the way my clothes looked or smelt like smoke. For my silly haircuts my grandma thought would always look so cute, the way i did my makeup or how I did my hair. Highschool senior year is when I found the love for hair and knew I needed to pursue this career. I became fascinated by hair extensions, color, cuts, and the way it could magically change your whole attitude and self confidence. Sitting in the salon seeing the way women complimented and uplifted one another, and would just BE there for each other to lean on, made me realize that no matter what you are loved and good enough. There are people in this world that will love and be there for you and help you see that within yourself. I loved hearing stories of how stylists had met their client years ago and had been there through all of their biggest life events, turning their relationships into more friendships. After finishing beauty school right out of Highschool, I married my Highschool sweetheart at the ripe ole age of 19! Starting in the beauty industry at such a young age and navigating the new lifestyle as a wife was terrifying none the less, but so exciting at the same time! Over the years I’ve realized that these relationships I am building with people behind the chair would open up so many doors of opportunity and growth for me. I’ve worked many places since 2013 which became my stepping stones into transitioning into my very own business and Hair studio! I’ve gained so much self worth and confidence over the years by my interactions with each and every one of you. There is definitely something so special I’ve learned about being a hairstylist, its that when I place my hands on your shoulders after caping you up, I can feel you release the weight of the world. For the next one - three hours or more is YOUR time to escape your everyday. To talk, laugh, cry, and hug in a space that is judgement free. I’m amazed every. Single. Day that I have been able to create such an atmosphere for women. Along the journey of creating a name for myself I was blessed with two beautiful children, Aspyn - 6 and Oakley - 2. My journey of becoming a mother was very long, rough and defeating many of times. Myself and my husband unfortunately had experienced loss a handful of times before we had our first, and between the two. Experiencing that pain and grief along with working mainly on women day in and day out, with the conversation primarily being held around family, children, so on and so forth was really hard for me. I learned tho that throughout my unfortunate experiences of losing my babies I could help be the advocate and voice for so many women I was meeting by doing their hair. The encouragement I could provide women and receive back while being able to find the beauty within themselves, made doing hair that much more special to me. For me, doing hair goes deeper than the surface. I love the connection and positivity it brings out amongst each other and the community. I love that some days I get to be the person someone is looking forward to spending their time with, to let loose and laugh. I work hard to continue my education to make sure I’m always bringing the best and most luxurious services to my clients, along with working together and supporting other stylists. My best achievement over the years has been really focusing on the color trends and how to create more lived in modern day looks for the everyday person. My goal is to be able to provide you with a service that helps make your life easier at home, while making you look and feel your best 100% of the time. My dream as a business owner is to encourage others to pursue their dreams no matter how scary it may seem. I would love to get into educating new and upcoming stylists, to prepare them for this crazy ride they will experience. I want to educate them on the positives this career can provide them and their families, and especially the financial freedom when running your business right. Thanks for sticking with me this long, I can’t wait to see you, spoil you, hug laugh or cry with you and create a look that is bound to give you limitless confidence when you walk out the door. Xo, Mariah Wolfgang
